I loved this line I heard today from @mrjasonowilson. It is a careful line that must be walk to success. We cannot make everything so easy there is no struggle and weakness ensues, but neither should we push so hard we break what is fragile. For life and horsemanship, it is the same. Ease can destroy as surely as abuse. We cannot make things so easy for ourselves, our children, our horses that we can’t face the smallest discomfort. And on the other side, if we are too harsh, too cruel, too unyielding—we will also destroy potential.
