I’ve always loved the end line of the poem ‘The Summer Day’ by Mary Oliver. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - for me it’s a reminder to experience the world with gratitude, to honor whatever you deem your life’s purpose to be. I don’t think we’re ever too old to start over, or begin again. I often think about what a world would look like if more people poured their energy into the things that light them up and less into the societal ideations of “success”. if more people were enabled to chase their dreams instead of “doing what they’re supposed to do”. what if we let our inner kids out to play more often?
