Wild Horses in Nemiah, BC Hiding from Wolves 🐴🐺

Wild and feral horses in Nemiah, BC know that when they are being chased by wolves their best defense is fleeing down by the road. 🐴🐺 I ran across this herd with young foals doing just that, hiding down where they knew the wolves wouldn't follow them. Somehow the predators know that a bullet from a protector of the herds could await them. It's always fascinating to see the relationship between the local indigenous and their horses display such a dynamic. Also equally as impressive is the awareness of the wolves with the understanding that they can't pursue their prey into the safe zone, or it could end in their demise.
