Embracing life’s leaps before feeling ready - that’s been my mantra. Do I stumble? Always. Do I face calls to slow down? Every day. But have I ever paused? Not a chance! 😂 These videos, relics of the Covid Era, reveal more than just memories. They show joy. They show growth. Grant, mastering his ABCs and 123s with his brother Linus’ support. Cece, blossoming into a confident young girl. All because I dared to leap before I was ready. The boys arrived in February 2020, a mere three weeks before the world hit pause. Yet, my world had already tilted - I’d lost my dad just months before. Our last conversations? Dreaming up barns, plotting fences. He was as eager as I was to bring the boys home. After he passed, every step forward felt like a mountain. The very thought of where the barn would stand paralyzed me. But then, in that chasm of grief and hesitation, I found a sliver of courage. And I took that next step. The one I believed was beyond my reach. And today? As i am in the middle of another leap, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the ones of my past. To learn and to remind myself to keep taking those big steps, especially when they feel out of reach. How do you remind yourself of your strength when you need ? I would love to know :) Peace & love Melissa, cece, grant, Smokey & Linus (My husband, Alex too but he is never in any vidoes 😂) @melissajeanpt #EquineTherapy #HorseMindfulness #Horsemanship #HorsesOfInstagram #HorseLover #NaturalHorsemanship #EquestrianLife #MindfulHorse #EquineAssistedTherapy #quarterhorse #quarterhorsesofinstagram #hanoverian #hanoveriansofinstagram #dressage #hunterjumper #pleasureriding #rescuehorse #equineassistedtherapy #equinemassagetherapy #equineassistedlearning
