Day 2: What happens when there’s nothing left to distract you from yourself? We rode through Wadi Sabet today, wide-open desert with soft sand and rocky hills. Lunch was at Abu al-’Ubay, a relaxed lunch spot known to local Bedouins. In the afternoon, we rode to Sad al-Taq, sad means “well” in Arabic, an old Bedouin well still used to water animals passing by. No stress. No rush. Just a straightforward day of riding, resting, and exploring real places.
