This is the first mountain pass crossed during our expedition through the remote Teskei mountains before reaching our eagle hunter friends. 🇰🇬 One thing I love about traveling on horseback is that you don’t just see a place, you move through it with purpose at a different pace, and notice all the little details. For hours, the only sounds were hoofbeats, the wind, the occasional whistle of a marmot warning friends to go into hiding, and ofc the discussions we had and songs we hummed. As we climbed higher, the landscape became harsher, wilder, quieter. And then, almost without realizing it, we stood at the top of Tosor Pass.
