I learned to ride horses by simply hopping on one of our family friend’s horses and not falling off. we were riding in halters and bareback, no bits, no saddles. so even as I cringe watching my form in a lot of my older videos, I am trying to have some grace for myself. I didn’t have lessons or even access to horses really as I was growing up so all I gleaned was from those stolen moments at the simmer’s farm as a teenager. we are all works in progress after all. I never want to stop learning or trying to improve myself, my horsemanship, and my riding ability. but all that also to say that it isn’t ever too late for anyone to start learning something new. that you usually have to suck at something before you get good at it. and that failure is just another stepping stone on the path to success. . 🥰🎥 @thejenini . . . #horsemanship #horsegirl #barebackriding #horsetravel #horselovers #inspiration #motivation #learning #growth #inspirational #motivational #animals #horsepower #power #powerful #speed #life #lifelessons #lessons #ego #selfimprovement
