Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. (GAMSD) is dedicated to rescuing, raising, training and donating highly skilled service dogs that empower individuals with disabilities to lead more independent lives, while easing the burden on caregivers. They are dedicated to empowering veterans, first responders, and individuals with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs that help recipients regain independence and improve their quality of life. Their service dogs are trained to assist with a range of conditions, including PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), mobility challenges, seizure and diabetic disorders, and hearing impairments. GAMSD also offers lifelong support, including a Medical Savings Plan that covers veterinary care, ensuring both their recipients and service dogs receive the highest standard of ongoing care. Through partnerships with nationally certified mental health professionals and their VA-approved, college-accredited apprenticeship program, they are advancing service dog training methods and setting a high standard of excellence across the industry. Driven by compassion and a commitment to lifelong support, they strive daily to make a meaningful difference in the lives of their recipients and their families. Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs is a 501(c)3 based in Williston, Florida. Started in 2010 by Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Carol Borden. With her dedicated Board of Directors, employees, Ambassadors, Advisory Council and volunteers; together, they are unleashing the incredible power of service dogs.
