Today marks 50 days in the ICU….. On Dec 27, my oldest brother was taken to the hospital for what we thought would be an overnight stay & release. Instead he has spent 50 days in the ICU…. During this time, finding my peace has been harder than ever. But this is where horses have changed my life. In their presence, I have learned the felt perception of peace. True, authentic peace. And over the years, I’ve learned how to hold on to this felt perception and start using it in other areas of my life. Am I 100% all the time? Not even close 🫣 But am I better because of the incredible gift they have taught me ? 💯 The silver lining of all this …..Finding Peace in the Paddock will be adding some new components. Components to help everyone carry peace with them so they can access peace when they need it most….even when you are in a sensory overloaded icu room ❤️ Peace & Love Melissa & Smokey 🥰🎥 @melissajeanpt #findingpeaceinthepaddock #equines #horses #quarterhorse #backyardbarn #myotonicdystrophy #icu
