Did you know your horse should be flexing their pecs? It’s not just for show. This subtle movement is a key part of activating the thoracic sling which supports healthy posture, balance, and movement. Using the Balance Through Movement Method, we look at patterns like this as clues. When the pecs are engaged correctly it tells us the horse is starting to lift through the sternum, soften the bracing muscles, and shift into a more functional, grounded state. So yes, that little flex matters more than you think. ✨ It’s not just biomechanics. It’s part of the whole-body conversation. 🔗 in bio to work with me 💜 . 🥰🎥 @bella.equinebodywork . . . #BTMM #BellaEquineBodyWorks #ThoracicSling #EquineBodywork #FunctionalMovementForHorses #EquinePosture #HorseAnatomy #EquineTherapy #SoundHorse #equinelove #equinebodywork
