At Stable Friendships, a session can include more than time in the arena. It might mean stopping at the stream. Checking on the garden. Meeting a kitten who has decided to join the day. Saying hello to a horse before anything else happens. There are things to touch, sounds to notice, small jobs to do, and lots of fresh air. There is room to move. Room to get curious. Room to enjoy being outside with people and animals who are glad you came. Our therapy goals guide the session. And we also make room for the ordinary moments that help a child settle in, join in, and feel good where they are. That is part of what makes a day at Stable Friendships feel like itself.
