Meet Aslan (aka Ozzy)! 🐴✨ He’s the newest addition to our equine partners at Stable Friendships Foundation and just began his mounted therapy sessions this week! At just 7 years old, Ozzy is younger than most therapy horses, but when equine movement is the key, age really does matter. From building confidence to his first therapy session, here’s what we look for when transforming a horse into a healing equine partner: 1️⃣ Calm and gentle temperament 2️⃣ Strong and healthy physique 3️⃣ Desire to connect with people 4️⃣ Positive interactions and socialization 5️⃣Thorough training, from groundwork to specialized skills A special thank you to @hesshorsemanship for dedicating a great amount of time to finding this hornless unicorn and getting him ready for our specific needs.
